Once Upon a Time

(*Picture is of my son Taylor)

Truth:

Once Upon a time

God knitted You

together in your mother's womb

and you were a

Baby,

whose first word was a cry.

Music to the mommy and daddy's ears,

but then the cry that was once music

doesn't like a song at 2 in the morning.

But then smiles return

as you are taken from the crib

and held and fed

until the next cry at 4 am.

Once upon a time

God knitted You

together in your mother's womb.

You~

perfectly crafted,

on purpose and for a purpose

from the moment of your first cry

and every cry after that.

Music to your

Father's Ears

the moment you cry out to

Him~

"I cry to God to help me. From His palace He hears my call; my cry brings me right into His presence— a private audience!

and no one can take that away." (Psalm 18:6 The Message)

Because you are

His Child~

even though you are no longer a baby.

As my second "Baby"

is turning a year older today,

tears fill my eyes as I remember that moment when they said

"It's a boy"~

A son for my husband and I.

A brother for his older sister.

I remember holding him for hours &

looking at his little tiny feet and fingers and those eyes.

Once a baby,

yet who is no longer a baby

but who

I share and you share you the same story~

Once Upon a time God knitted~

God crafted

God created

God shaped

each & every one of us in our mother's womb

and

He will never

leave us or forsake us~

"You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." (Psalm 56:8)

Look up today

and

Thank God

for

knitting you together

on purpose and for a purpose

and

cry out to

Him

because

An

Extraordinary God

Sees & Hears & Loves Precious You~

Making you

more than

Ordinary.

From Ordinary to Extraordinary

Just one cry away.
