Master Sewer

He takes out

His needle & thread

& starts to sew.

No one knows exactly what

He is making,

as it just appears to be

one stitch connected to another stitch.

Nothing worth looking at it,

therefore impatience makes one

walk away

because there is no time

to wait & to see

what

He is creating.

But then He speaks just two words~

"Be still".

And oh how those words make no sense~

"Be still".

But why?

I have things to do.

I don't have the time

to wait & to see

what

He is creating,

are the words that fill the mind.

Then He says it again

"Be still".

Something tugs at the heart& then it happens~

The stitches that are attached to another stitch & then to another,

are no longer a bunch of random stitches,

because

He is never random.

It all starts to make sense

as you & I start to realize that it is

Your Story & My Story

because

we take the moment to

"Be still"

& realize

that

each stitch is carefully connected to the next one

that is carefully connected to the next one & the next & the next....

because He speaks again,

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts." Isaiah 55: 8-9

God

always makes sense of what doesn't make sense in our eyes,

because He never stops stitching.

All He asks is for us to

"Be Still & Know"

that He is in control

as He takes us

From Ordinary to Extraordinary
