Anne Graham Lotz~

Bible teacher, Student of the Word, Speaker, Writer

Devoted to God~

and yes

she is not exempt from getting cancer.

That was my first thought

when I found out & I questioned~

Why would she get cancer when her life

is committed to serving

God?

Hmm...

No one should have to go through

cancer

heartbreak

loss

and even

death~

No matter how "good" or "bad" they are.

And then I read

what

Anne's response is about her current battle~

Cancer Can~

Enrich Love.

Refocus Hope.

Strengthen Faith.

Deepen Prayer.

Command Peace.

Bolster Confidence.

Increase Endurance.

Multiply Friendships.

Enhance Memories.

Open Doors.

Realign Priorities.

Grow Courage.

Create Empathy.

Tenderize Compassion.

Develop Character.

Cancer can be a blessing in disguise.

Cancer can be the preliminary to bearing much eternal fruit.

Cancer can be a display case for God’s glory.*

Hmm...

What if I & What if you

looked up to the blessings that are hiding in the midst of

the "bad" that enters into our life,

that is beyond our control?

Is that what it means to

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." Romans 12:12

and

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who[a] have been called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

Thank you Anne

for pointing us back to the cross.

Is there a "bad" in your life that is beyond your control?

What can your ________ do?

Prayers for Anne

and for all who are

experiencing an unexpected "bad"~

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him,

so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13
