It's All Up

I met a woman the other day

who shared

Her Story

when I asked her about

a beautiful locket that she had.

She showed me a photo of her

2 grown sons

whose faces she was going to place

inside of the locket.

And then she said it~

her sons were both deceased

as they had passed

within months of each other

of 2 different health issues

that came out of the blue.

My heart immediately started to cry

as I looked at this sweet woman.

I can't even imagine.

I didn't even want to imagine,

but it is

Her

Real Story~

Unedited.

Oh the heartache that this precious

woman will carry around for the rest of her life.

But oh

Her Joy

Her Comfort

Her Peace

as

Her God

is bigger than life,

because she said it~

that her

Faith

is what keeps her going.

Faith

in

A Real God

Who allowed this ,

yet

isn't His fault.

Oh how I questioned Him at that moment~

Why God~

Both Sons within months of each other.?

We can question

God

until we are blue in the face

and that is okay

because who likes

sorrow & loss & tragedy?

He doesn't either,

for that is why

He calls them

"light"~

small in weight

&

"momentary"~

fleeting; lasting for a markedly brief time.,

because these

Sorrows & Losses & Tragedies

"are achieving for us an eternal glory

that far outweighs them all." II Corinthians 2:17

All because there is so much more

beyond what our eyes can see

that overrides the

Sorrow & Loss & tragedy~

This sweet mother

continues walking through her

Real Story

only because

She Looks beyond

her heartache

because

She Sees beyond

her heartache~

"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen,

but on what is unseen, since

what is seen is temporary,

but

what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 2:18

I am thankful for that beautiful

God appointment,

as it was a reminder

not only of the great sorrow that we all have to deal with in our

Real Stories,

but as a reminder

that

we have a

Great God

who has so much more for us

beyond what our eyes can see.

Real Life. Real Stories. Real God.
