Imperishable Life

Writer: JoniJoni

Life is Life & then it ends

for Me & For You

as

there are no exceptions.

We are just like a piece of fruit~

Perishable~

Decaying

Decomposable

Destructible

Easily Spoiled

Short-lived.

One day a plump juicy grape

and then a dried out raisin.

Perishable~

"Though outwardly we are wasting away..." (2 Corinthians 4:16)

No matter how many sit ups

No matter how healthy you eat

Perishable! But

because

"God so loved the world

that He gave His one and only Son,

that whoever

believes in Him shall

not perish

but have eternal life" (John 3:16)~

In Him we are Imperishable~

Continuation

Preserved

Enduring

Occurring Forever.

Imperishable in Him~

...through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

and into an inheritance that can

never perish,

spoil or

fade.

This inheritance is kept in heaven for you,

who through faith are shielded by God’s power

until the coming of the salvation

that is ready to be revealed in the last time (I Peter 1:4-5).

An Imperishable Inheritance

From

Perishable to

imperishable

"in him"~

Two little words that carry the power

to transform

a raisin back into a big juicy grape~

"In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while

you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.

These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—

of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—

may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

Though you have not seen Him, you love Him;

and even though you do not see Him now,

you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls."

I Peter 1:6-9

Imperishable~

"Yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us

an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen,

but on what is unseen,

since what is seen is temporary,

but what is unseen is eternal." (2 Corinthian 4:16-18)

Imperishable in Him~

"Therefore we do not lose heart." (2 Corinthians 4:16)

Life is Life & then it ends

but

in Him

it is just the beginning.
