It is All Up

At times

it is very hard to

Follow Jesus

even though

I know

He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. John 14:6

It especially gets so hard

when everything around you

appears

like it is falling apart,

yet

you cling to

Jesus

because that is

Faith.

I don't like it

at times

because it

is

Trusting

in

Someone

who you can't see,

yet you know exists

because you gave

Him

your life.

But then,

when you least expect it,

you smile as

Joy

returns

because

Hope

is in the midst

&

Peace

transcends your heart

because

Joy is

&

Hope is

&

Peace is

Jesus

&

not what is or what is not

going on around you.

So hard to comprehend

but

Hope is a Person

Joy is a Person

Peace is a Person~

but actually much more than just a person.

Jesus

is always

worth following,

especially in the midst of the

Joy~less, Hope~less, Peace~less times.

Is there something in your life that is heavy on your heart?

Is there uncertainty lurking at your door?

Is there a storm in your midst that just won't go away?

No matter what,

whether it gets hard

and when it isn't so hard

Just follow Jesus

Anyway~

"So we’re not giving up. How could we!

Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us,

on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without His unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times,

the lavish celebration prepared for us.

There’s far more here than meets the eye.

The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow.

But the things we can’t see now will last forever." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
