I have been waiting for God
while God has been waiting for me.
If He hasn't gone anywhere
why do I wonder where
He is.
Could it be that I am treating Him like a Genie~
to give me what I want when I want it.
Could it be that I am looking for Him in a burning bush~
to show up in some dynamic way.
Could it be that that I am looking way too hard~
when He is sitting right here with me?
God is God.
He doesn't play hide and seek.
He is who He says He is.
He does what He says He will do.
So
If God is right here
&
I am right here
then
what am I waiting for~
"Is there anyplace I can go to avoid your Spirit? to be out of Your sight? If I climb to the sky, You’re there! If I go underground, You’re there! If I flew on morning’s wings to the far western horizon, You’d find me in a minute— You’re already there waiting! Then I said to myself,

I guess I just need to get out of the way
because
I am the one blocking my view
of a
Great God
Who Loves Me
&
Who Loves You
Beyond our wildest dreams
because
He is right where I am
&
Right where you are.
So

Fast
from
Waiting for God
by getting out the way
by asking Him
to remove whatever is getting in the way
of just being with Him~
Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24
