Day 34: Steadfastly Peaceful

What are you thinking about right now?

What is overtaking your mind?

It could be what I just asked you

or it could be ______________.

To think

To fix

your mind

on

a something or

a someone

will dictate how your day will start

and how your day will end,

depending on the what or the who

that you are thinking about it.

But

what if,

just what if

your mind & my mind

could be in a state

of

Perfect Peace?

A peace that

I can't produce

&

you can't produce,

because only

He

can produce

Perfect Peace~

"You will keep in Perfect Peace

those whose minds are steadfast..." (Isaiah 26:3)

Having a Steadfast mind~

"to lean upon or take hold of (in a favorable or unfavorable sense)

to rest self, set self, stand fast, to sustain." (Strongs)

To be

Steadfast

about

Him

Who will keep

our minds in

Perfect Peace

when

You & I

keep our minds

Trusting in Him

& not in

this happening

or this not happening~

just

in God

while

He

is doing His thing.

Because

what

He is doing

is always the best thing

for you and for I.

No matter how hard I try

&

No matter how hard you try

I can't & you can't

Keep our minds in Perfect Peace.

So I ask again~

What is overtaking your mind?

Because

whatever is overtaking

your mind

is what you are "steadfastly" thinking about

which is what you are trusting in.

Therefore,

let's

Fast

from

thinking about

whatever you are steadfastly thinking about

that is stealing

His Perfect Peace~

And instead

be

Steadfastly

Trusting in Him

because

"People with their minds set on You,

You keep completely whole,

Steady on their feet,

because they keep at it and don't quit."

(Isaiah 26:3-4, The Message)
