Day 2: Two Little Words

Just two little words

that have the power

to change your identity~

Who you are and who you think you are.

Just two little words

In Christ

Try it~

I am Christ.

So when I don't accept myself &

when others don't accept me

Am I still Accepted?

Have you ever asked yourself that question?

Add those two powerful little words~

In Christ

if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

II Corinthians 5:17

whatever I think I am and whatever you think you are

whatever others think I am and whatever others think you are

doesn't carry much power~

If I am &

If you are

In Christ

we are

Perfectly New

Perfecdtly Forgiven

Perfectly Accepted.

To Receive our new identity

To Believe in our new identity

is the easy part,

but to

Live in our New Identity~

When we don't feel so new

When we don't feel so acceptable

When others don't see us as new~

is hard,

but it

does not change

does not take away

those two little powerful words~

In Christ!

To live out our New Identity

is to

the old self

that subtlety creeps in

that doesn't make us feel or act so new.

Can the New Self say the words

I am Christ?

I am Christ?

I am Christ?

It is impossible

it is a lie.

But oh how often I do that when I am

Forgetting whose I am

not the

In Christ,

but the

Old Self..

"You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires..."

And to

the New Self

" be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness." Ephesians 4:22–24

Who are you...In Christ?

Add those two powerful words

after whatever

statements you say about yourself today

and you will be amazed

to see

how often they don't fit...

you can make them fit

the moment

you remember

whose you are.

From old to New

From Rags to Riches~

You are a

New Creation

In Christ.
