Day 19: Do it Anyway

Writer's picture: JoniJoni

You did your homework

You participated in class

You did the research paper

You studied for the test

You even love the class

You take the exam

You get the exam back

You flunked the test

"What do you mean I flunked the test

I did everything I was supposed to do."

Hmm...

Has that ever happened to you?

You do what you are supposed to do

to the best of your ability

and even do the extra credit

And

it just doesn't work out the way you thought it would.

But

does that mean you flunked?

Mother Teresa explains this much better than I~

*People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered.

Forgive them anyway.

*If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.

Be kind anyway.

*If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies.

Succeed anyway.

*If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you.

Be honest and sincere anyway.

*What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight.

Create anyway.

*If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous.

Be happy anyway.

*The good you do today, will often be forgotten.

Do good anyway.

*Give the best you have, and it will never be enough.

Give your best anyway.

*In the final analysis, it is between you and God.

It was never between you and them

anyway.

BACK TO BASICS

BACK TO SCHOOL

Do It Anyway

Because

Jesus did it...Anyway.

In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, He made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!

Philippians 2:5-8
