Day 18: The Blame Game

Little Johnny walks into the classroom,

filled with fear

"Johnny, can I see your homework", said the teacher

"Uh I don't have it", responds stuttering Johnny.

"Uh, um. well, the dog ate my homework."

The Teacher looks confused,

because

she knows that

Johnny doesn't have a dog.

The Blame Game~

when pride won't let you take responsibility for your actions.

Have you ever played it?

If you have, there is never a winner.

Whether

blaming

another

or

blaming

yourself,

it is

shifting the attention

from what is really going on. The man said,

"The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate."

Then the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?"

And the woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate." Genesis 3:12-13

The Blame Game~

from the very beginning.

I wonder if God ever blamed Himself?

In a way

He did

so that we are

Unblamed~

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
