Sorry that I am not sorry?

Sorry

that

I

am

NOT Sorry!

The words

that basically mean

that

I am NOT Sorry!

I think about when my kids were younger

and there would be a disagreement

and

I would have them

say

that he or she is

Sorry

and

the words

I am Sorry

would flow out

but

what you would actually hear was

I am really NOT Sorry

that I am NOT Sorry!

Have you ever said it...

you know,

the words

flow off your tongue

but in your heart

you are rea;lly

Sorry that you are NOT Sorry~

Just lip service.

Have you ever said it or don't want to say it... to Jesus?

Asking for

forgiveness ~

for yourself

for others~

yet in your heart

you just don't mean it

because

you don't believe

that He will forgive you

or

make it possible

to forgive the unforgivable?

“Father, forgive them" Luke 23:34

rolled off

His lips

because

He really

is

Sorry for them

Sorry for you

Sorry for me.

Jesus doesn't give us lip service

because

He is

forgiveness...

that is why

He came

and that is

what He came

to bring

yet

we have to be the ones to go to

Him

and say

Sorry that I am Sorry

with condfidence

knowing that

He is

Sorry

that we are

Sorry

because

He is

forgiveness

that makes

I am

Sorry

really

Sorry.

The

word for today is

Sorry.

It’s the hardest thing to give away And the last thing on your mind today It always goes to those that don’t deserve

Sorry It’s the opposite of how you feel When the pain they caused is just too real It takes everything you have just to say the word…

Sorry

because it is

His Word

Because

He said it first

and meant it...

Forgive as the Lord forgave you Colossians 3:13

It’ll clear the bitterness away It can even set a prisoner free There is no end to what it’s power can do So, let it go and be amazed By what you see through eyes of grace The prisoner that it really frees is you

So...

say it

receive it

to you

and to someone~

Sorry that I am Sorry
