Day Four: Line Up

The shepherds came…

The wise men came…

The animals came..

All lined up to see The Baby Jesus.

The precious little Baby who was born to be King.

Drawn by the star that lead them to the One who was born…

For you…and for me…for all!

I have been in many lines…choosing lines that I thought would lead to peace and lead to freedom.

All lines that appeared to be paved with hope, when in the end only brought more emptiness and more pain.

It wasn’t until I finally chose the right line…

The line to meet the Baby….

“For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

Isaiah 9:6

The Baby born to be called:

Wonderful Counselor

Mighty God

Everlasting Father

Prince of Peace

Why wouldn’t I get in His line when He was everything that I was seeking?

But “Where Is the Line to See Jesus?” in the midst of the Falalalaling?

Listen...

What line are in? What do you expect to find when you get to the end of it?

If you saw Jesus at the end of the line, would you choose His Line?

Remember, His Line never moves and there never is a wait.

  • COMMENTS:

  • What a beautiful song - I've never heard it. So true - need to put Jesus first - first in the morning, and throughout the course of each day. I think so many distractions during the day, work - how much needs to get done and just get on autopilot for the day.

  • I would choose his line, and I'd thank him for all he has given us. I need to get in his line more often but slowly and surely, with your daily reminders, I will get better at this.

  • I need to get in His line more often too! It baffles me how I know His line is the one that always brings me to peace, yet I am drawn away to other lines because of other things of less importance that subtly call my name throughout the day. I do find that when I choose His Line first thing in my day, His is the only one I want to be in. I ask myself, "What keeps me from His line?"....and the answer is usually "I doubt that He will be able to do for me what He says He can do." But I have to smash doubt like a bug, because He is Who He says He is, and His Promises are His Promises for me, for you...for all. joni

  • Thank you for the inspiring messages - They are so helpful in keeping my priorities focused directly on Him.
